BE NOT SURPRISED BY WHAT IS HAPPENING

romans 1:21-31


21 For although they knew God, they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him, but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened. 22 Although they claimed to be wise, they became fools 23 and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images made to look like mortal man and birds and animals and reptiles. 24 Therefore God gave them over in the sinful desires of their hearts to sexual impurity for the degrading of their bodies with one another. 25 They exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator--who is forever praised. Amen. 26 Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural relations for unnatural ones. 27 In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed indecent acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their perversion. 28 Furthermore, since they did not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, he gave them over to a depraved mind, to do what ought not to be done. 29 They have become filled with every kind of wickedness, evil, greed and depravity. They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit and malice. They are gossips, 30 slanderers, God-haters, insolent, arrogant and boastful; they invent ways of doing evil; they disobey their parents; 31 they are senseless, faithless, heartless, ruthless.

Whatever we are seeing or even experiencing is not new.

It was before and so is now.

When God realized that mans attention was not on Him, He gave him what he wanted.

Verse 24 Wherefore God also gave them up to un-cleanliness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves.

What you are seeing with the passage of the new constitution is what we have been craving for, for years now. That is why the CJ authoritatively declared it clearly for lawyers to wear studs and Rasta, but you should know very well what that means and portends for our generation x. simply put, there is a new religion at the judiciary the king pin of our justice system.

Paul declares that because God forces us not to do his will but just grants what we are ready to die for irrespective of the consequences. God gave them up to their lusts that reigned in their hearts.

1. Truth for a lie, Romans 1.25

Who changed the truth of God into a lie and worshipped and served the creature more than the creator who is blessed forever, Amen.

Sounds strange

Look at this

People worshipping Michael Jackson, bend over team football teams etc.

Whole hearted worship of riches that when you die you leave them here on earth

Believing the lie of politician more than the word of God, because of a leso or 100 bob

Isaiah 44.15-20

Hope this sinks very well

So do not be surprised by the worship of pastors

Pastors practicing witchcraft and all kinds of doctrines, not forgetting cheating on the sheep to give and bless God for God to bless them

Now this is not the gospel but rather it is counterfeit.

These are called cheap lies, food for those who are not drenched in the word of Jehovah.

Jeremiah 10.14 Every man is brutish in his knowledge;: every founder is confounded by the graven image: for his molten image is falsehood, and there is no breathe in them

Jeremiah 13.25 This is thy lot, the portion of thy measure from me, saith the Lord; because thy hast forgotten me, and trusted in falsehood.

Jeremiah 16.19

Fathers inherited, lies, vanity and things wherein there is no profit

I cannot wait to read the repercussions in verse number 20

Your position and mine should be similar to what Paul declares in 2^nd Corinthians11.31 The God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which is blessed for ever more knoweth that I lie not.

Do you have confidence as such?

To stand up and say yes ask of God and the thing is I lie not . there is no falsehood.

How many as it were have our tongues because of fear of consequences fesred to tell the truth? Ati ulimi uliteleza

2. Shameful lusts

Pardon me for this question but I am just thinking aloud

Could there or is there something called good lust or pride full lust?

Could there be lust you can pride yourself out there that I did it with so and so?

Romans 1.26

For this cause, God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature.

Ephesians4.19

Who being past feeling, have given themselves over unto lasciviousness, to work all un cleanliness with greediness.

This is just too heavy staff friends

I have strength to say only because it is the word of God.

1John 4.5

They are of the world: therefore speak they of the world, and the world understandeth them.

It is worth reading 1Corinthians 6.18 to understand who we are so that any doubts are completely cast out of our minds.

This is why Paul the apostle would exhort us in Ephesians 4.27 ‘That we may be transformed in the attitude of our minds’

3. Depraved minds

This is mind boggling.

That is to do what you ought not to yet you go ahead and do it.

Romans 1.24-25 ‘Therefore God also gave them up to unseemliness in the lusts of their hearts, to dishonor their bodies among themselves. Who exchanged the truth of God for a lie and worshipped and served the creature rather than the creator, who is blessed forever. Amen’.

Romans 1.29 Being filled with all unrighteousness, sexual immorality, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness, full of envy, murder , strife, deceit, evil mindedness, they are whisperers, 30 Backbiters, haters of God, violent, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents. 31 Undiscerning, untrustworthy, unloving, unforgiving, unmerciful; 32 Who knowing God THE RIGHTEOUS JUDGEMENT OF God, that those who practice such things are deserving of death, not only do the same but also prove of those who practice them.

This should trigger us to ask ourselves some very difficult questions, such as.

Are we really in the lord’s will or are we pursuing our own selfish ends?

4. They are senseless

Verse 3o so declares

Do evil and feel nothing, hear nothing.

They are thick skinned.

They are simply dead. Because only the death have their senses not working.

Heard of bloodless killing, chilling murders: - student lady killed and thrown on Waiyaki way, body in Muran’ga with a skinned face and the private parts missing

2 Timothy 3.2

For men will be lovers of money, boasters, proud blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy….without self control, brutal despisers of good….5 and from such people turn away.

This is what is unfolding before us. People sit in the pews in the morning and at night, they are inventing dangerous schemes and planning evil.

That is why the level of disobedience to parents is so high. The situation is worrying.

Parents are we really in charge or our siblings are?

Revelation 21.8

‘But the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death

5. Very very ignorant

For they know the penalty of their sin yet continue valiantly in it.

This is the extreme belief and trust in self.

It leads to death.

You are different?

Not doing what they are doing?

Feel misplaced?

Cheer up I am hear to bring you good news

Romans 2.7 ‘Eternal life to those who by patient continuance in doing good seek for  glory, honor and immortality.

Cheer up yours is the eternal life.
