In a world full of speculation, only God’s word is certain

Do defined

-to perform an activity or action

-to have a particular job

The second one is the definition that we are going to use in this respect.

From the outset let me declare that you and I have a job to do

God has given us an assignment, unfortunately we cannot run away from it,

however much we try to.

And you better do the job!

For there is no short cut!

Look at Noah

He looks at the instructions of God, very bold, specific and full of purpose.

And what does he do?

Ignores the multitude [free advice]

Does not bother with heart breakers

He keeps his eye on the prize

Purposefully avoids side shows and drama

 Verse 5 says ‘And Noah did all that the lord commanded him’

He did what? All

The same command is for me and you today.

We are not exceptional.

We are right in the mix

Friends this thing that ‘you cannot live a life of righteousness here on earth’ is a lie and a sham.

We have lived long enough with it and its time truth and reality dawned on us. and we better start living right.1Petre 1.6-21

Surprisingly we are not getting bored about living a lie.

We have so many examples

1. ABEL- Genesis 4.4

‘But Abel brought fat portions and some of the first fruits of his flock’.

He did a good job-his entailed tending flock and he did not disappoint.

His perfection is only evidenced in the description of what he gave God

‘Fat portions’

Never gave out rejects, not deductions, or balance after.

His were no give of pains takings.

He knew he had a job to do

And doing, he did it profoundly well!

2. NOAH Genesis 6.9

‘And God’s description about Noah is just splendid.

It is mid boggling.

Look at the environment in which God finds this one man with dazzling C.V.

And now from who else, other Jehovah himself!

This humbles me most.

For this is how your father is

God has given us a job and knows what to expect us. Re; Ephesians 2.10

And you know what?

He is in the business of searching and un-earthling.

Rather raising praises up, for the glory of God to come down.

Hey friend it is high time you stared living right.

How about this mathematics?

Because of a righteous man, a family, a generation and even animals are saved as a result.

God help me live a righteous life this world full of hurting.

Panel beat father to your desired standard and help me live it!

Scrub off that clinging sin

Wash me a new and a will be as white as snow.

The lord God approves of me

I might be surrounded with sin [back- biting, hate, insolence and even people who think I am nothing].

My constant reminder I have been given work to do!

God’s standard expectation is for the work to be done well

That is my preoccupation.

Noah knew this he excelled

Today he becomes my model example.

And I am greatly proud of what the lord is achieving in me, fro me and through me’

I have taken cue from him and I am busy working hard towards wellness.

Glory be to the name of Jehovah!!!!

But fried listen to this testimony of God, Genesis 6.9

‘Noah was a righteous man, blameless, among people of his time and he walked with God.’

Please realize this friend

That I am not defined by my surrounding

Rather by whether I am doing thee lord’s command or not.

I am not interested in man’s accolades and company the sooner or later wanes out.

My decision is firm

My heart is resolute

My resolve, to walk with God all the time!

You can make fun of it.

Let it be a gossip table, but realize this that TIME for accountability is coming
