YOUR NIGHT IS OVERYOUR NIGHT IS OVER

ROMANS 13.11-14
1 THESSALONIANS 5.1-3
NIGHT:-
The time after sunset and before sunrise while it is dark outside
            The period spent sleeping
A period of ignorance or backwardness or gloom
The period after the close of life; death
MORNING:-
The first or early part of the day lasting from midnight to noon or from sunrise to noon or from sunrise to sunset
The first or early part; the beginning
AWAKE:-
To wake up; rouse from sleep
            To become active
To come or bring to an awareness; become cognizant
Night is the time most of us cry
We do so in the belief nobody is seeing us or knows what we are going through.
It is time to sleep
It is a time of un-predictability night is a time or period of fear.
Most nights are times of darkness
At night vision is blurred and the spirit of wickedness reigns.
Beloved of God, what is it that is your night?
Indicators of night in our lives:-
1.     Casual walk in the Christian journey
2.     An un-condemning conscience
3.     Term -oil and challenges
4.     Cold approach to prayer
5.     Lack of interest in the word of God or fellowship
6.     Complacency and a feeling “hii siwezi hadi nisaidiwe”
7.     Hopelessness,  Mark 5.32
The bible declares that now is the time to awake from sleep for the night is far spent and the day is almost here.
But it is important to pay attention to the word NOW
The word has been used strategically
It has been used in full realization of Jesus’ second coming
Hebrews 9.23
The bible declares now is the time to wake up from slumber
Now denotes:-
•No wastage of time
•No delay
•Immediately
•Jump out of bed
•Throw away the blanket

People wake up in the morning.
Right thinking men have no fun sleeping over in the morning
Morning is an indicator of life and productivity.
Morning denotes vitality
It is important that as Christians we walk up from the ways of darkness
Galatians 3.27 “For as many as have been baptized into Christ, put on Christ.
It is important that when you wake up you keep your self busy and look for some activity to do.
Put off the works of darkness and put on Christ
And it does not end there the moment you put on Christ something else has to follow.
Put on the armor of light
Colossians 3.1-10
As if that is all there still exists another requirement
Walk properly as in the day
In the day you walk carefully with full knowledge of where your feet are stepping on.
In the night you just groping
Your visibility has many challenges
But in the day you walk comfortably without fear or any worry.
When walking in the day it is necessary to avoid the following:
i)                   Revelry
ii)                 Drunkenness
iii)               Lust
iv)               Strife
v)                 envy

And as you shed off all things child of the most high remember not to leave the house empty
The next thing that needs to follow is to
Put on Jesus and make no provision for the flesh
Never allow room for temptation
Remember the morning is come
Wake up and do something
There is no license to wake up and just sit up the whole day
We are to walk honestly as in the day
Mornings normally usher in the consummation of the second coming of Jesus the Christ
Romans 12.12
“Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant prayer”
The morning brightness offers us hope
Colossians 1.27
“To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you the hope of glory:”
Psalm 126.5
“They that sow in tears shall reap in joy”
And allow me to remind you that the night of trouble is all gone
It does not matter how long and troublesome the night could have been.
Beloved listen to this!
Psalm 30.5
“For His anger endures for a night; in His favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning”
You know what when you wake up you have to undress the night clothes.
These are not clothes for most of us to parade ourselves in them
By the way some of our night gears can easily scare away a cat in the night let alone of “sweet hearts”

The morning of my father brings with it fresh ideas and special grace
So after undressing the night gears a cool/ warm birth and change of clothes is very necessary and also important if not but a must.
You shed off darkness and put on the light of God
You become a reflecting of the glory and righteousness of Jehovah
Remember that light never negotiates with darkness of who should leave
Immediately you put on the lights darkness has to take cover, al right!
That why I am here to announce that your darkness is over!
Whatever was addressing you as your night I want you to declare the following:-
Darkness I do un-friend you
I undress all the night dresses that I have worn all these years
I arise and put on Christ Jesus
Now I walk in honesty in Christ Jesus’ name
I now put on Jesus as lord and ruler of my life for he is the one anointed and appointed by the father to be the Ruler and savior of my life
I am now free in Jesus’ name
Halleluyah to the Lamb of God
Now give out a shout of victory to the king who reigns both now and forever more
Amen!!
And now may god bequeath his own Calvary blessings to all His children
Amen!
